Meet the Team

Wm. Preston Billig, O. D.Dr. Billig grew up in suburban Philadelphia and is a 1983 graduate of The University of Tampa with a degree in Biology. He received his doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1987. Following his internships at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia and the Orlando Naval Hospital, Dr. Billig began practicing in Tampa. Dr.’s Billig and Dahlberg are married and have three adult children.

Debra J. Dahlberg, O.D.Dr. Dahlberg grew up all over the U.S. and landed in St. Petersburg for high school. She graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Zoology and continued her education at the University of Houston where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree. She has been practicing in the Brandon/Riverview area for over 30 years. Dr. Dahlberg opened the doors to OPTICS SOHO in 1997.

Erin Cooper, O.D.Dr. Cooper was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. She obtained a major in Biology and minor in Spanish at the University of Georgia in 2007. She then went on to the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee to achieve her Doctorate of Optometry in 2011. She has also completed a residency program focused on primary care and ocular disease at the Bay Pines VA in Bay Pines, Florida. When not working, Dr. Cooper enjoys spending time with her husband, two young daughters, and two rescue pups.

ScottScott is a Licensed Optician who has been with Optics SOHO for over 20 years and helped launch our Tampa location. He lives in Tampa and enjoys spending his weekends with his wife and son.

AllisonSince coming on board, Allison has advanced her education and skills by achieving her Certified Paraoptometric designation. Along with her patient care duties, she is our go-to person for IT support.

EmmanuelEmmanuel is a Board Certified Licensed Optician. He is of Cuban descent and bilingual in Spanish and English. He takes pride enhancing your quality of life with the magic of unique eyewear!

NadineNadine is delighted to have joined Optics Soho having practiced as a New York State Licensed Optician before relocating to Tampa with her husband. She is pleased to share her optical field experience with her coworkers. In her spare time, Nadine enjoys travel, fitness, cooking , reading and spending time with family and friends.

CarolCarol is a New York State Licensed Optician who moved to Tampa in 2004 and joined the Optics Soho team. She takes joy in baking and making everyone smile.

BrittneyBrittney was born and raised in Tampa, FL. She enjoys family time, cooking and if time permits playing pool.

EricEric is originally from North Florida and is a University of Florida Alum. He has been a Board Certified Licensed Optician since 1999 joining Optics Soho in 2002. He continually strives to provide the most fun, relaxed buying experience possible. Go Gators.
